Come join us for a 1.5 hour Dance and Yoga
class in a 6500 Sq feet dance space!
40 min Yoga – centering, warm-ups, yoga poses
30min Dance – free-form authentic movement
20min Deep Relaxation - resting, breathing, meditation
Together, we will wake the body up with gentle Yoga stretches, get the energy moving with Sun Salutations and Yoga asanas, and then let the body do its dance. Authentic movement, dance, body awareness and Yoga instruction will be provided with plenty of space to improvise, rest, take care of yourself and just have fun. We will end with delicious deep relaxation and short meditation.
Facilitated by Zhanna Goldfine, MA, MFT - a Yoga Teacher and Expressive Arts Therapist who has been studying Yoga, Dance/Movement therapy, authentic movement, 5Rhythms and other body awareness practices for the past eight years.
