Relationship Counseling
Your task is not to seek for love,
but merely to seek and find
all the barriers within yourself
that you have built against it.
Rumi
Intimate relationships are the source of both greatest joy and greatest suffering in our lives. Love seduces us into trusting, surrendering and opening to life fully. Love also breaks our heart and makes us face our most painful wounds. But if we don’t allow the pain to close us down, if we remain devoted to opening our hearts and transforming through this process - love can teach us how to heal ourselves and others with sensitivity, patience and compassion.
For couples who are committed to walking this path together (in a monogamous or open relationship), Relationship Counseling can serve to help:
- gain insight into the deeper purpose of your relationship
- deepen the trust between you and your partner
- explore the unconscious roles you play with each other
- bringing awareness to the projections and judgments
- notice if trauma is being replayed and learn how it can be healed in relationship
- explore dependence, independence and interdependence
- find creative ways of fueling sexual attraction (see Sacred Sex Therapy page)
- discover hoq you can be most helpful for each other’s growth
- learn to love unconditionally
Relationship Counseling can help singles, whether in search of a life partner or a great lover, to:
- learn how to be your own ideal partner
- let go of past relationships
- identify your barriers to loving fully
- set your intentions for the relationship
- explore any sexual issues (see Sacred Sex Therapy page)
I have 35 years of experience in intimate relationships, and provide an informal open minded and relaxed environment in which you can explore how you can love yourself and others fully.
